Sometimes, life has a way of wrapping things up with a perfect little bow—like the universe giving you a wink and saying, “You’re right where you need to be.” That’s exactly how this next chapter of my life feels.
As I get ready to leave my full-time role at the Area Development Partnership (ADP) to focus on being a mom to my sweet son, I can’t help but marvel at the serendipity of it all. My last day at ADP fell on New Year’s Eve—a day that traditionally symbolizes closure and fresh starts all at once. This week, I’ll celebrate my 30th birthday, and I’ll step into my new part-time role at Bliss Bridal. Talk about a smooth transition!
It’s almost like the stars aligned to remind me that change, while scary, can also be so beautifully timed.
Reflecting on My Time at ADP
Leaving ADP is bittersweet, to say the least. For the past seven years, I’ve poured my heart into helping grow our community, build connections, and support local businesses. I’ve learned so much about leadership, collaboration, and what it means to invest in something bigger than yourself.
I’ll forever be grateful for the people I’ve worked with, the lessons I’ve learned, and the experiences I’ve had along the way. From packed networking events to meaningful conversations with business leaders, ADP has been such a special chapter in my life.
But now, it’s time for a new chapter—one that allows me to spend more time at home with my son while still pursuing the things I love.
So, What’s Next?
While stepping back from full-time work is a big change, I’m not hitting pause on my career. Instead, I’m pivoting to create a balance that fits this season of life.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be starting a part-time position at Bliss Bridal, a role that combines my love of sales, fashion, and helping people feel their absolute best. There’s something magical about helping brides find the dress, and I can’t wait to be part of those special moments.
I’ll also continue offering my Edit coaching sessions, where I help others refine their personal brands, create compelling content, and find their voice online. This work fuels my creativity and brings me so much joy.
And of course, I’m not going anywhere when it comes to this blog and my online brand. This space has become a creative outlet and a way to connect with all of you. Whether it’s sharing tips for building a personal brand, balancing work and motherhood, or simply navigating life’s transitions, I’m so grateful for the community we’ve built here.
Finding Balance (and Maybe a Little Sparkle)
Let’s be honest: balancing motherhood, work, and everything else isn’t easy. Some days, I feel like I’m juggling too many plates, and others, I feel like I’m nailing it—coffee in hand, to-do list checked off, baby giggling in the background.
This new chapter feels like a chance to redefine balance. For me, that means more time at home chasing after my son, fewer late nights at the office, and a part-time role that brings me joy without taking me away from what matters most. It also means creating space for creativity—whether that’s through my coaching, my blog, or building connections online.
And can we talk about the timing? Closing out one chapter on New Year’s Eve, stepping into my 30s, and starting fresh at Bliss Bridal feels like a sign that I’m heading in the right direction.
Gratitude and Community
As I navigate this transition, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude—for my time at ADP, for the support of my family and friends, and for this amazing community. Your encouragement and connection mean so much to me, and I’m excited to keep growing together.
To my ADP family, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be part of such meaningful work. To my new Bliss Bridal team, I can’t wait to join you and bring a little sparkle to the days ahead. And to everyone reading this, thank you for walking alongside me through this journey of change, growth, and balance.
Here’s to New Beginnings
If there’s one thing I’ve learned through this process, it’s that change doesn’t have to be scary. It can be exciting, serendipitous, and full of possibility. It’s okay to pivot, reevaluate, and prioritize what matters most.
As I step into 2025 with a new role, a new decade, and a renewed focus on family, I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me—and to share it all with you.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to new beginnings, new challenges, and lots of gratitude along the way.
