Hello friends!
I truly feel like I've been MIA forever, and I am so happy that I've been able to finally sit down and spend some time on my favorite place on the internet. Since we've spoken last, I've been getting ever more settled in my new Mississippi home-- getting a little more settled in my job and new life as time has gone on. It's been a cool time, and I've honestly been out living life instead of writing about it. So here's an update.

I'm currently making my way through Ephesians with the guidance of Well Watered Women. I put a link to it here, in case you wanted to join me while I jump into it and have some context. The Well-Watered Women studies are really great about giving a lot of empty page to work through what God is showing us through the guided scripture study. It's really self-guided, which is always wonderful. I'm excited to share with you what I've found on this little trek through the Bible, because I'm sure it'll be some worthwhile stuff. I'm truly so excited to get back into the groove of everything I've been doing before my life seemed to get kind of off-track.
Do you ever feel that way: off-track? Maybe its just me, but sometimes I can literally fill a notebook with ideas and brainstorms and outlines, and I'll get too busy to complete the list. I'll be so consumed by other things, and before you know it, whatever the passion is (mine is the blogging thing) has fallen to the wayside to make way for "real life", whatever that means. Lately, I've been kind of slapped in the face with just how much I love to express myself on this site, and I just know that it'll become more than the quarterly newsletter that it has been, as of late. I've got some great things in the works for the blog, and I'm so excited to share with you!
New Blog Category: I added a member to the household recently. Gus the Giant Schnoodle has truly been the light of my whole life since March, and I can't wait to share pictures and stories and tidbits of the things I'm learning as a new dog-mom. He's 3 months old now, and he'll be a giant, so we're enjoying the puppy stages while they last. If there are specific questions you have about how I'm living my life with Gus by my side, contact me with a question. I'm also more than happy to accept and share any advice that you seasoned animal parents have. Seriously. I have been learning so much, and I would love the chance to share the small wealth of knowledge that I've gathered in my short time with this little (for now) pupper. So far, I've been living by this book, The Art of Raising a Puppy. The book has saved my life, my patience, and my understanding of Gus. I'm excited to continue to share with you!
My second order of springtime bloggy business is sharing with you the tunes that have been on repeat in my life since the weather rose above 50 degrees. It's a diverse mix of a few of my warmer weather favorites, including a few jams for any and every mood. You'll love it or hate it, but I thought I'd share it anyway!
I've got a few things in the works for what's to come for the blog. I believe this Spring and Summer season will be full of great content. I want to encourage you to definitely reach out and contact me with any suggestions you have for topics. I love hearing from you, for sure, and I'm so thankful that you enjoy my little corner of the internet enough to support me!
I'll see you guys soon!
