Now, This Is Noteworthy

The past few weeks have been crazy. I haven't really been able to put it all into words until just this morning during my quiet time, which I think is kind of cool. God has this really cool way of saying

"Hey, kid! Do this crazy, random, relatively scary thing. If you do the thing in My Name, You may be surprised at how it'll turn out." (I don't know why I picture God winking when He says this, but I do.)

Okay, so it's no secret that I'm graduating college in May with absolutely NO plan for what happens after I walk across that graduation stage. You can only imagine how stressed I was about that. I prayed and prayed and prayed about it, and that was conveniently the time that Disney College Program applications opened up. LITERALLY THAT DAY. I was at my peak of stress and I received an application via email (I was subscribed to the emails, so that isn't much of a coincidence as the timing was).

I must explain how many thousands of people apply to this. It's in insane number, and people get denied all the time, so I was really stressed about applying, but I felt a tugging at my heart to go ahead and do it. Long story short, I'm in. After almost two months of anxious anticipation, I get accepted. I move to Orlando in June and I'll be there until January, which is a long time! I was afraid about who I would live with, because the living situation is tight, so it's ideal if you get along with your roommates.

*I'm leaving a few parts out for future posts*

Again, thousands of accepted people are looking for roommates. Hundreds of "Roommate Surveys" on the Disney Facebook Group that beg people to live with them. I join the Facebook group late, of course (I didn't even know such a thing existed) and immediately find the girl I want to room with. By some crazy miracle, in less than three days of even being a part of the group, I find all six of my roommates. I don't really know the stats on this, but that seems like a God thing to me. These girls have already been such a blessing in my life. We encourage each other, even though we've yet to really meet each other. It's such a cool friendship to build, even through what is going to be a long time away from home. For the first time since this whirlwind of events, I feel like God has His hands all in this process.

Now, I'm still a little sad to leave. So I've started writing cards to the people I'll miss the most on this really cute stationary I found. I also have taken to writing my Devotionals on them, too, since they're much prettier than notecards. Everyone has been asking me about where these cute cards come from, and they're Jay Pattern Design!

Annie is the cutest girl who started out designing these patters on coffee, which means she's already my soul sister. She has a li

ne of stationary, phone cases, planners, and other cute products with these simple graphic designs on them that I'm totally obsessed with. Literally. I write my Bible verses, grocery lists, letters, and pretty much anything else that I can think to write on this paper because I just like to carry it around and look at how pretty it is. Seriously, she's the sweetest. I'll be posting more information on her later, but check her out in the mean time because she's my favorite thing.

Now, I think I'll also be posting more about my Disney adventure via the blog, so if you'd like to stay in the loop with that or if you have any questions about the process, contact me, for sure! It's going to be such an adventure, and I would love to share the journey with y'all!
